| So, for this thread I'm assuming that everyone knows what FEAR is (A lv 1 pokemon with sturdy or a focus sash that can use endeavor to kill almost anything). FEAR pokemon, if used on the right team, could possibly be the most damaging class, as certain ones like shell ball Aron are basically indestructible. Basically, in this thread we'll discuss the FEAR method to see how it stacks up against most opponents (basically talk about how good it really is). | |

| No strategy is unstoppable but some can seem that way. A good start for a discussion here is to talk about everything that can stop it and then how to overcome that with other support pokemon. The first thing that comes to my mind is residual damage, such as sandstorm or entry hazards. They seem to be the bane of all focus sash users.
Also cottonee can do everything the ratt can, plus has the prankser ability. So even if it fails it as lest paralyze the opponent or something. | |

| While fear is a fun stragety (im turning my shiny rattata into one since its defense ivs are to low for the raticate i was looking for not that raticate is taking that many hits but still...) it's very easy to counter. To name a few multihit moves and entry hazards will ruin it. You can also read some more here. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Appendix:F.E.A.R.#Countering_F.E.A.R. | |

| The FEAR I've always wanted to try is Aron. This works perfectly because A shell bell Aron with endeavor in a sandstorm would autokill most pokemon and the shell bell heals it. However, multi strikes would murder it, as would flinching or moves like perish song. | |
